The year is 3030 in Mystic Falls, Virginia. The vampires had always lived in the small town as there were a few that knew about them. The vampires where tired of hiding and they wanted to do what they liked. There was a group of rebel humans that wanted to stop them.
So a war had broken out between the rebel group and the vampires as it lasted for years.
The vampires where to strong and there was too many as they had won the war and had now taking over the small town. The vampires now took the humans and force them to be their slaves as they rule the town. But there is still a small group of free humans that are still trying to stop the vampires and get there town back.
