bio: Ziva was born in Israel in 1982 to Eli David and an unnamed mother. As a child Ziva's mother prerferred that she played with dolls rather than boys games like Battleship or GI Joe. Ziva was close with her younger sister Talia while they were growing up. Ziva was eighteen when she joined the Israeli arm for two years as was compulsory for all women. She then volunteered to become a mossad officer, while she was there she was part of a special operations unit known as Metsada or Kidon. It specialized in assassinations, paramilitary operations, sabotage and psychological warfare. During this time her younger sister Talia was killed in a Hamas Suicide bombing.
Ziva's position as control officer in Mossad had her involved in operations in Cairo Egypt where she met Jenny Shepherd, Iraq before the iberation, Paris where she worked with Namir Eschel, and the UK working on counter terrorist operations for six months before joining NCIS, and before that in Eastern Europe with Jenny Shepherd. During all of this Ziva has become a skilled fighter and shooter, even stating that she has killed a man with a credit card. Ziva has a half brother Ari who was also a Mossad officer but he went rogue and killed Caitlin Todd, and shooting Gibbs in the shoulder.
Ziva joined NCIS following the murder of Caitlin Todd. Ziva was Ari's control officer and half sister sharing a father, Mossad's Deputy Director Eli David. At first her loyalties are questioned by the team because of her relationship to Ari Haswari but soon proves her loyalty to the NCIS team when she kills Ari after Gibbs is cornered by him. After Ari's death she asked to be assigned as a liaison for Mossad at NCIS thus joining Agent Gibb's team.
Sample RP:
Ziva was sitting at her desk in the office of NCIS, she was kind of chatting casually with DiNozzo and McGee, or McGeek as DiNozzo sometimes called him or Probie whatever was fitting DiNozzo's fancy for the day and of course there was DiNozzo's daily reference to some movie she'd never seen or heard of before. Both of the men were casually typing reports into the computer, or well one of the men was, DiNozzo was more than likely playing a game judging by the look on his face. Subsequently Ziva didn't quite understand his enjoyment in the games that were played on the computer but Ziva was more for getting the work done before playing but that didn't seem to be the case in DiNozzo's world.
Ziva herself wasn't having any luck with the computer, and was starting to get frustrated really. What was it about these stupid things that made Ziva hate them so much at times. The computers were something that Ziva had worked with before without much success but she was getting better unlike her understanding of the slang and cultural references of this country. She heard McGee say something to DiNozzo about what he was doing at the moment and Dinozzo said something of a similar manner back.
“That is the caulderon calling the pot black” said Ziva to DiNizzo
Only to realize after she'd been corrected by the other two agents in the room that she had it wrong again. It was the pot calling the kettle black. Whatever it was though it didn't make sense to Ziva. She did speak ten languages fluently though, including Hebrew, Spanish, Arabic, Turkish, French including Belgian French and English. She also knew how to swear in the majority of those languages but that wasn't so much important. She also knew some basic German, Italian and Russian which was a good thing but those languages all needed improving on for the most part and she didn't quite know how else to learn more about the language than live there. She learned basic English when she was in Israel and just kept growing upon that language as she moved from place to place but Americans version of English was complicated with all the slang, cultural references and collaquialisms.
Ziva just sat at her desk waiting for her computer to respond to her thinking about her younger sister Talia. Tali would have made it a point to learn all of these references and things before she came to the united states so she wouldn't look like she didn't know what she was doing. Ziva missed her sister but there wasn't much that she could do about it. She didn't think much about Ari anymore though she had been the one to kill him with good reasoning because he had gone rogue on them.
